Post Jon Stewart in O'Reilly Factor
Guys, you gotta watch this if you've enjoyed, as I have, Fox News' blatantly constructed narratives. Jon Stewart on the O'Reilly Factor. It's a LONG interview, like almost an hour. But don't watch the edited clips, you know how they do things, watch this (if only the first 10 minutes):

http://ccinsider.comedycentral.com/2010 ... d_facebook

Stewart simply destroys O'Reilly at every turn. O'Reilly fumbled each discussion topic, and sort of closes it off by drawing a general and oversimplified conclusion. Watch Stewart's face when this happen. This is one of the best interviews I've ever seen. Hurray for Jon Stewart!

Lots of blablabla, not my kind of humour tbh.

Although Stewarts remark: "I'm not saying your mother is a whore, I just say she's having sex for money" was kinda funny :P

^ Well, actually, it's not supposed to be funny. The Daily Show is funny, but this is supposed to be serious. It IS funny, however, because O'Reilly doesn't know how to beat Stewart sound reasoning :).

@veli no it just fools the site into thinking you're american, you still have a direct connection

@ponky - thanks hadn't thought of that!

Nah. What happens is your browser tells the site what IP address you're coming from and then a lot of sites just use a simple lookup (because the internet is fairly well partitioned) and then allows / rejects you based on that. This plugin just tells the site you're coming from 12.13.14.15 which is an American IP address. This works for comedy central and a few others. Great for watching daily show / colbert report clips.

Anyway it's dumb that it works. It's like saying "Hey yeah my address is American, just send the stuff over to Europe for me CHEERS".

Stewart and O'Reilly both portray characters to an extent, although O'Reilly's character is a pretty nasty piece of work.

Nice trick, I might use that in the future. Thanks.

I suppose it might offer a form of protection as well(?).

Yeah, install that add-on and go to Tools -> Modify Headers and do the X-Forward rule as above (this is my way of saying I can't really remember).
