Post Starcraft II
The trailers look really great, and as someone who only recently finished the original games and still found them to be awesome, I'm looking forward to continuing the story.

Has anyone bought this yet? How is it?

Just finished the first Terran campaign in StarCraft 1. Only 5 left...

It sure looks awesome, and Tricia Helfer as Kerrigan - Whooooo!

Tricia Helfer is awesome! I loved her as Caprica Six.

So it has 6 campaigns? How long did it take you? It seems like a bit of a short game, am I right?

You must've mistake me. I'm still playing Starcraft 1 so I can continue with Starcraft 2 whenever I'm finished with the original and the Brood war campaigns.

Failed the last Terran mission and ragequit to Company of Heroes. Much more satisfying.

Can't wait til' I get my hands on SC2 though.

Played both: SC and SC:BW in the past. Like campaigns (played all of them three times, if not four... just don't remember now, possible) and I have to admit: I've never seen story like this in any other RTS (huge & deep). I was playing online too and I was a part of our national league (however, my team was always at the end:D not last, but definitely far away from TOP3:D).

I was waiting for SC2 for two/three years. After so many videos, screens - my interests was ending... until StarCraft II - Ghosts of the Past Trailer. Kerrigan, I still remember what they have done to you... However, I won't play it, before upgrading my PC (just waiting for Sandy Bridge) and now I am just watching online games on http://www.teamliquid.net/video/userstream.php

Yep, the StarCraft storyline sure is solid.

Still a bit sour that I managed to spoil it, explanation follows

Ooh, that sucks. Yeah, Kerrigan was pretty heavy... That's what I liked about playing Starcraft, even though it was already 2010(!), and despite the outdated cutscenes, I was still touched by what happened. I have to admit that this kind of betrayal/revenge themed story is totally my thing, but still, it was good.

Ever played, you know, the other RTS series from Blizzard? I liked the Warcraft plot.

Veli:
Tried the game last night.
A part from the obvious: incredible cinematics and eyecandy the game looks great.
I'm looking forward to snatching a copy for myself :P

ps. there is 27 missions (IIRC)

27? Noice!

I might wait until the initial problems have been fixed in a patch, and they I'll get it.

Played all campaigns in Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos and first in Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne, but never liked Warcraft universe, even World of Warcraft is so popular... And I am not going back to this. I like orcs, trolls:D and others, but only with AD&D rules - that's why I never liked Diablo serie too. Of course story in warcraft wasn't so bad, but I prefer when it happens in space...

And about how many missions are there I've found this
"There are 29 missions total, but there are 3 places in the game where you're given the choice between two options. Therefore, there are 26 missions in a regular play through, and you have to do the remaining 3 through the mission archive."

Why am I feeling old when people answer: WC3 when they are asked about the other Blizzard RTSes and the fist thing I think about is Orcs and Humans..

Screw you young people! In my time the games where more fun. The graphics was more exciting (yes, you can get excited over 8bit graphics and 8MB worth of RAM)

I'll go in the "Must be over 20" corner and play some Amiga or maybe I'll install Dune 2 and go nuts!

Dune was actually one of the first games I played, and I played it for hours at a time. I loved it.
