I declare my computer stable and working! Played Split/Second on Very High for an hour to test it out, and it ran smoothly all the way through. No crashes, no glitches.

Guess the initial problem was 10.6, and after that I just had the misfortune of playing two games that were slightly bugged.

considered sending the whole rig back and get the people who sold it to you to deal with your problems?

My thoughts exactly, but I'm so scared they're gonna run 3DMark and Furmark, which don't crash, and send it right back to me "Sir, it works fine".

Can you think of a reason why those benchmarks would not crash, and games would?

The obvious one is drivers, but that shouldn't exclude benchmarks.

What you should do is state that the system runs just fine on 3dmark and future mark, but in games it makes like a kid with tourets

I called ATI Benelux support and showed the video. After I said I had grey and brown stripes too, he told me to download 10.7a beta drivers and if that didn't work, to RMA the card.

Any improvement noticed yet?

Well, SarX, I tested a lot of other stuff, and the different drivers seem to have an effect on it, if not completely positive. So it just has to be. And if it's not, then it's Azerty's job to fix my PC, as I have a one year guarantee.

I'm going to try the Beta now.

Beta drivers no good. Haven't encountered heavy glitches yet, but small ones, and it always starts with small ones.

Veli -@try letting memtest86+ run for a few hours. I was convinced my problem was with the gfx card, was about to rma it, then ran that and discovered a bunch of errors...

I did, man. 6 hours. Zero errors.

try newer chipset drivers.. or if u have the newest, try older ones.

I have the newest. But I'll try it when I'm done with other tests .
